3. Legal Bases (Art. 6 GDPR)
- Performance of a contract — order processing and eSIM delivery;
- Legal obligation — issuing and retaining invoices in accordance with tax legislation;
- Consent — marketing communications (optional, selected separately at checkout) and non-essential cookies;
- Legitimate interest — platform security, fraud prevention and service improvement.
4. Who We Share Data With
Data is shared strictly to the extent necessary with: the payment processor (Stripe), network partners for eSIM allocation, the web hosting provider, the invoicing service and, where applicable, the competent authorities as required by law. We do not sell or rent data to third parties.
5. Retention Period
Billing data is retained in accordance with tax legislation (for up to 10 years). Account and order data — for the duration of the account’s existence plus the legally required period. Support communications — for a maximum of 3 years. Marketing data — until consent is withdrawn.
6. Your Rights (GDPR)
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure (“the right to be forgotten”), restriction, portability, objection and the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Requests must be sent to suport@esimtruck.com and will receive a response within a maximum of 30 days. You also have the right to submit a complaint to the ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro).
7. Security
We use encrypted SSL/TLS connections across all domains, role-based restricted access to data and certified processors (Stripe — PCI-DSS Level 1). No online transmission method is 100% secure, but we apply technical and organizational measures appropriate to the level of risk.

This policy may be updated; the current version, including the date of the latest update, is permanently published on this page.
